We’re happy to be able to let you know that Jerry is home. He was discharged from hospital on Friday evening. One of the first things he did on Saturday was to check the equipment, he wanted to do a stream yesterday but thankfully realised it was far too soon! We did a little drive around @HeathrowAirport with our members and it was wonderful to see Jerry slip right back into avgeek mode, even if it was only for a short ‘road-trip’! We want to thank you all for your incredible support the past few weeks, it’s very hard to put into words how much it means to us both. It’s been so valuable as we navigated the devastating complications he suffered following his heart surgery. Thank you just doesn’t seem enough ❤️🙌 We’d also like to thank the cardiac and neurology teams at St George’s @geshNHS and the stroke team at St Peter’s @ASPHFT for taking good care of our Jerry ❤️ Now we focus on his recovery so he can get back out there sharing our love of aviation with you all. “Slowly, slowly catchy cruiser” ✈️ Gilly & Jerry

@BigJetTVLIVE Gilly I am so sad to hear that Jerry has had a set back in his recovery but I wanted to let you know that we all miss you guys and are praying that Jerry makes a speedy and full recovery. Our prayers are with you all ❤️

We thought Jerry would be home by now after his heart valve replacement surgery but sadly he has suffered 2 small strokes, the first one just 3 days after surgery. He was doing so well but he suffered another stroke yesterday. I'm reaching out to the aviation community to help us get him through this. We need our Jerry back. Well I wasn’t expecting that? Over two thousand messages from fantastic people all around the world, everyone has been amazing. But the most amazing people have been the ICU & Recovery nurses and Doctors. I cannot thank everyone enough including my immediate family, friends, Members and Subscribers. I should be back at base camp in the next three to five days and slowly but surely I’ll be getting back in the seat. Thanks everyone 🙏🏻❤️ Just gonna do the right thing: listen to the advise of the specialists, take my time and ease myself back-in. Pictured is Gypsy who’s been by my side for most of my recovery and I must mention Nandu and the entire team who were on shift for my initial care.
