If Maxx didn’t speak on anything —team officials and BIG media would control the narrative & messaging of the story since they all talk with each other Raiders had “no comment” Ravens pushed “concern over MRI” Media echoed and steered knee concerns Then everyone else interprets how they want to interpret —and argue over it all The player usually has no voice and has to “shut up and play” Maxx is a player that has a voice because he’s one of the best players in the league that also has zero “diva” tendencies to him. There’s no questioning his work ethic and will to win.
