Witcher 1 is one of my favourite games of all time. Witcher 2 is my actual favourite game of all time. Does not matter the circumstances the 2nd game was just so much better in every imaginable way even though I absolutely love the charm of the 1st one. I will always cherish Witcher 1 for getting me to read the books.

@pharr0s @ShitpostRock The original Witcher was a glorified indie game & a sleeper hit from 2007. CDPR back then only had Sapkowski's blessing to adapt his books & a dream. The Witcher 2 is like a proper AA game, because the devs had some money, then. So yeah, but... bit of an unfair comparison.
