Did a bit of a deep dive looking at John Chayka and if he's the right fit for the #Leafs. I looked at his exit and suspension through the end of 2021. In hindsight, given what ended up with Arizona ownership in the years that followed, it was hard not to sympathize with Chayka pursuing another opportunity. thehockeynews.com/nhl/toronto-ma…

John Schneider says he’s “really proud” of how Hoffman and Varland have handled these changes in the bullpen. On Hoffman: “Hoff threw the ball the best he has in quite some time. That was really encouraging. He’s handled this so well.” #BlueJays

Yesavage pitching this efficiently is so important, too, because I don't expect him to be cranking it up to 100+ pitches much this year. He'll still be managed carefully, and while strikeouts always play, pitches add up quickly. Really, really great day for him. #BlueJays

Who knows if Sundin is a good executive, but I keep coming back to Mike Johnson speaking about a conversation he had with Sundin during the Olympics He said Sundin “has some opinions, they’re not weak about what the Leafs need to do” I’m optimistic if they find him the right GM
