After reviewing the Terminal data, we’ve decided to conclude the season early, and sunset our Terminal program. The points distribution for Week 3 has gone out as normal and a snapshot has been taken of all user activity up to this point, which will be used in our final calculations. This decision did not come easy, but we believe this is what’s best to support our ecosystem. Next week, we'll run a supplemental points distribution to thank all users who have been exploring and experimenting with the different apps throughout the program. Eligible Terminal participants will receive a share of the rewards pool in USDM, based on the points accumulated to date as well as activity that supported Mega. Early next week, we'll open a place on Terminal for one week so you can designate a wallet address to receive your rewards. What happened next? Community launched a couple of tokens. DMs immediately flooded in pushing me to endorse coins I never agreed to launch. Then more tokens launched on solana and same story... all of this while outside my place enjoying time with my fam
As someone whos been in the launchpad space long enough, I get the benefits AND the risks of launching a token while building a project
We will have a token sooner or later... just not the right time. I dont have the bandwidth to deal with it right now, even though I love tokens for product distribution

I'll spend the next ~72 hours seeing how much of that I can rebuild fully autonomously.

So far, TTT has been a failed experiment (except for the team, who have made over $200k)
A majority of tokens have $0 trading volume
Literally $0
This means the flywheel doesn't work for NFT holders, regardless if 90 or 9,000 are burnt
These coins are competing against thousands of other tokens launching every minute
99% of them are worthless (these included)
But TTT token launches have a setback the other launchpads don't: They lose all momentum the second they launch due to a 99% tax and $50k mcap

People are still holding on expecting the team to crime a coin
Sure, it could happen. However, unless a fix is implemented, I don't see why giving it time will change anything

Last night, those who staked their $Gstar assets received a drop equal to 50% of their staked position
Currently, 11M tokens are staked, which means the drop amounted to about 5M
Also, at the end of the month, stakers will receive a reward in the form of $Gstar tokens; the distribution is expected to be 12M tokens, which means you can now get 100% of the funds you staked back at the end of the month

MegaETH Terminal is shutting down, but we're ending the season with a banger. +29,000 points and a top #30 rank. Overall, I lost about $5k USD, with the biggest losses coming from Hitone (-$1k USD), Monster (-$1k USD) and GMX (-$2.5k USD due to liquidation). So now I'm hoping for at least $0.25 per point, so it wasn't all a complete waste of time. Overall, there are actually some good apps on there. I still think shutting down the Terminal is a mistake tho
