The Award recognised Kate Young's talent and tenacity. She was able to properly record an album – with an 8 piece band including a string quartet. She is frank about the precarity composers face, but the Award was transformative. Read the interview: phf.org.uk/kate-young 15/

This year, we are celebrating 30 years of Awards for Artists 🎉 In recognition of this milestone, we spoke to 12 visual artists and composers who have received the Award throughout its history to understand the impact of the Award on their life and practice. 1/
