@AdamBlackmore @solentsport I was hoping the Wrexham match would be Wednesday, rather than Tuesday. Need to put the foot to the floor until the end of the season. Tempo & intensity is key. That was there yesterday (but missing last Weds). Difference was 2 points! Need to set the bar & demand excellence

@AdamBlackmore @solentsport I didn't say it was not a bad point. Just the difference in energy and performance was 2 points. Also, only hindsight of their Hull win suggests it may have been a good point. I pointed out, you can't afford to be "tired" if you want to win.

@philmcnulty The referee was spot on. There was no need for anyone other than the NEWCASTLE player due to kick off the match to be at the centre spot.

Hope the Liverpool and/or Spurs players face heavy sanctions today if they do not circle the referee at kick-off to “respect the ball.” The ball simply must be respected at all times.

@AlfieHouseEcho Watching the match, I was always hopeful of a positive result simply because the pace and intensity was so, so much better than Wednesday (when it was flat from the off).

Wanted four points from this week and that’s what Saints have taken. Flynn Downes admitted they were a bit flat on Wednesday, but that can happen. They made up for it today without doubt. Still a lot to do, but 12 games unbeaten now. Belief is coursing through them. #SaintsFC
