most people are their own worst enemy in a green market.
the PNL on your screen isn't the problem. it's the PNL on someone else's screen that can break you.
watching someone else in the gc or twitter/x feed hit a 50x while you're sitting on a 2x creates a dangerous comparison. jealousy leads to sizing up, over-leveraging, or holding too long chasing more and round tripping.
here is how to survive the cycle:
>recognize that "god candle" risk tolerance is usually just gambling
>realize that the a lot of people bragging about millions are also often one trade away from zero
>trade your own risk curve, not someone else's
>if you can't stomach a 80% drawdown, don't chase the 100x moonshot
the goal isn't to be the richest person in the gc for a week. the goal is to still be in the game and profitable three years from now.
don't let someone else's luck trick you into changing a winning system.
