@UtdMaI There are points about Amorim I liked, but this is just nonsense. Stevie Wonder could have identified Cunha&Mbuemo would improve the squad. People claiming it like it’s an individual quality of his when let’s face it the standard prior wasn’t exactly impossible to improve 🤷‍♂️

I don’t quite agree with people who label Ruben Amorim as the worst manager in Manchester United’s history. For me, every manager after the Sir Alex era has had their own contributions — including Amorim. One of his biggest contributions was cleaning up the dressing room by getting rid of toxic players, as well as bringing in talents like Cunha, Mbeumo, Šeško, and Dorgu. Under Carrick, they’re now starting to shine. You can disagree with his approach, but denying his contributions isn’t fair.

And here we are pissing money up the wall by the incompetent “best in class” recruitment decisions and having to act like pensioners not putting the heating on in the winter #MUFC

@philallen84 SJR is the only show in town (that isn’t state ownership or a Yank hedge fund like Chelsea)… so, as poor as they’ve been in decision making to date, we don’t have any real alternatives that any sensible Red would want… The Glazers are scum, tho, and need bought out.

Actually sickens me this. For one, he’s ex Leeds and secondly what on earth has he even achieved to be anywhere near us or involved?! What have #MUFC become?! I just can’t get my head around any of this. The club is so unrecognisable 🚮

@RodneyMcCain Yes I totally agree but the reason why we are where we are is because of the consistent decline. Wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole if I was a player. You have more patience than me. Constant recruitment mistakes,pissing money up the wall etc take one look at Nice. Carbon copy.

@philallen84 We’re broke, in real terms. The likes of City & Chelsea can outbid us for any player (Semenyo); Arsenal & Liverpool are more attractive options for lads wanting to challenge NOW for trophies. Thank the Glazers for all that; until they go, nothing changes. INEOS are needed, tho..

@RodneyMcCain We’re at a very critical time now, even more than ever and I guess my frustration is more at how the have allowed us to be even in this position. It’s really disappointing for a club so big and powerful.

@philallen84 But Phil, it’s temporary. They had no plan to sack Amorim until he left them no alternative. So this is all “off the cuff”. Frankly, MC can’t do worse than Ruben because HE never proved he could succeed with these players… Give them a chance before shooting them.

@RodneyMcCain And I am, genuinely, I am. But this probably stems from the sever lack of stability at this club, (more so under ineos) that I just don’t trust them 1 bit or even have faith in that they know what they are doing especially when there necks are well and truly now in a noose…..

@RodneyMcCain It’s smacks lack of competency at board level. Holland I can relate to, Evans great player = 0 experience. JW..iv never seen anyone saying he’s a decent coach..ever! He might be & I’ll hold my hands up…but it feels like a very hit & hope approach. This is Man Utd!!
