@SamLeatherberry @Imhoffben @earthworksturf @soilfirst @golfsuper1992 I always used Earthworks 5-4-5 for dormant feed but that is impressive!

Earthworks 10-2-5 as a dormant feed always amazes even after the harsh winter here in Canton, Ohio. @earthworksturf @Imhoffben @soilfirst @golfsuper1992

@golfsuper1992 Routinely have to make my own settings up but after 20 years of spreading Earthworks we have it dialed in .

@603agronomy Tried but was unsuccessful. Not much I can do now but play the waiting game.

@mryan311 Very much so. If no rain was forecast the. i would have left the snow. It is a crap shoot either way. I frequently tell people I work for Mother Nature.

@philbelgrade Got it, thanks.
Last Q from me, is it true that snow on top of turf is a good thing? I once heard it was “like a blanket” protecting turf. I’m sure that isn’t 100% accurate but wondering how close to truth
Good luck this winter!
English

@mryan311 Exactly. When it happens early the plant can be under ice for 90-120 days which can lead to winter kill.
English

@philbelgrade Q from a golfer that knows nothing about turf. Does rain coming down on snow lead to ice directly on plant? Which I believe is what can cause winter kill…

@philbelgrade Are you using foam or indicator dye to see your spray pattern at night?
