@golfsuper1992 Routinely have to make my own settings up but after 20 years of spreading Earthworks we have it dialed in .

Looking to build a more reliable calibration chart for our Earthworks products. I found a conversion chart for different brands of spreader but wanted to start with the most popular brand y’all use. Which do you prefer? Thanks for your input

@603agronomy Tried but was unsuccessful. Not much I can do now but play the waiting game.

Manchester, NH 12"-13" The fire pit was almost totally buried. Hoping those who tried to clear ice before this storm we able to.

@mryan311 Very much so. If no rain was forecast the. i would have left the snow. It is a crap shoot either way. I frequently tell people I work for Mother Nature.

@philbelgrade Got it, thanks. Last Q from me, is it true that snow on top of turf is a good thing? I once heard it was “like a blanket” protecting turf. I’m sure that isn’t 100% accurate but wondering how close to truth Good luck this winter!

The joy of being a Superintendent in the foothills of Maine. With heavy rain expected at the end of the week thought it would be best to remove.

@mryan311 Exactly. When it happens early the plant can be under ice for 90-120 days which can lead to winter kill.

@philbelgrade Q from a golfer that knows nothing about turf. Does rain coming down on snow lead to ice directly on plant? Which I believe is what can cause winter kill…
