@philiphiggins @johnnyddavidson But this is the issue. There are no more offers. Most clubs losing money year by year. Clubs dying. Seems only to be going one way. This could be an offer to save the sport for the future, if that's the case surely there is only one option. Rather have the sport than not

@Six_Again @johnnyddavidson Quite a big if on point 3 though? It might be worth the risk, but all I’m saying is we don’t know what ‘it’ is. Hopefully the offer is made and can be judged fully.

@philiphiggins @johnnyddavidson At the moment there are 3 options 1 Do nothing & hope for the best 2 Wait for a different deal that may never come, why would it nothing has before & the sport is collapsing down the pecking order? 3 Take what NRL offer if it will save the sport I'd say it's worth the risk

@Six_Again @johnnyddavidson The detail could prove it to be a no brainer, but let’s be honest, the RFL aren’t exactly going to have the NRL’s pants down in a negotiation. So if they’re offering so much, there’s bound to be a catch (or trade off to be polite). Can’t really judge without knowing what it is

@philiphiggins @johnnyddavidson Mainly due to the state are game is in at the min.... Things need changing It seems some owners only way of giving up control is to be bought out and NO ONE else is willing. IMO, it needs accepting to sort the game not just now but to be sure there is one in the future

@lewisboardman9 No idea about Pene. Brogan looked decent though. Might have to be him or Davis starting at 13 and Liu to prop. On top of all the injuries, Liu and Mulhern will be feeling it this morning. Both played virtually the full game

@hullfc_stats The six agains / ruck pens were a lottery both ways. Think he just has a hamster in his brain that’s tossing a coin. He also goes through spells giving nothing at the ruck then spells of giving lots of petty calls. He must be impossible to play.

The Tom Grant experience sure is something. Absolutely atrocious refereeing performance, the most inconsistent calling of set restarts I’ve ever seen He wasn’t the reason we lost but bloody hell we didn’t get anything called our way
