Bennettsbridge Limestone
Bennettsbridge Limestone@BennettsbrgLime·
What are the financial benefits of raising soil pH from 5.5 to 6.3? When the pH of grassland soil is maintained close to the optimum range, increased grass production of at least 1.5t DM/ha/year can be achieved. bit.ly/30cpS1e #agrilime #timetolime

@John_Dunne_ I reckoned the paddocks weren’t yours alright! Great to see expansion of the trial sites, really need to isolate varieties that ideally suited to the Irish weather, plenty of rain in cork for the job. We hear all about it on radio

@philipreck Well spotted. Yes, it’s just east of our main Shanagarry trial site. The number of plots have increased in recent years so more space is required. Still the same Septoria pressure! 🌾☀️

Winter wheat mini plots have established well over winter. This is very new material being grown under Irish weather conditions to ensure a robust test for Septoria tritici.

Trying to prove to The Dept that I have actually paid and received something on Tams while simultaneously trying to prove to another Dept Man that I actually exist and actually farm and have a bank account. I'm just like Sandra Bullock in 90s hit The Net. m.imdb.com/title/tt000000…
