Multiple sources now saying Mitch Lewis close to re-committing to Hawthorn despite Ben King being a good chance to join. Collingwood - as discussed below - have been interested since the Hawks' initial four-year offer was deemed below what the Lewis camp hoped for. Unclear whether that offer has improved, but kicking five can't hurt.

However I wasn’t a fan of Lewis talking to Jon Ralph a few weeks back regarding financial terms not being where Lewis wants them.
IMO - If Lewis doesn’t sign by the end of the home and away season - I’d say he is likely to leave.

@philltee @Quartermain10 @HawthornFC The good old Box Hill apprenticeship is the 🐝 knees. Just look at Max Hall at the Saints and Jai Serong at Sydney. All have been developed perfectly. The Bummers should take notes on how it’s done but we all know how that story ends 😂
