That was in 2010-2012 under Obama. If Europeans need American soldiers they shouldn't belittle and treat us as inferior.

Built over decades of Cold War deterrence against Russia. Now being used as a bargaining chip because a German politician said something Trump did not like. Italy and Spain may be next. Trump said "probably" when asked. NATO was built on the idea that an attack on one is an attack on all. Trump is running it like a subscription service you cancel when the customer complains.
