I need the internet to settle a household debate. 😅 My husband wants to paint this gorgeous 1905 built-in hutch WHITE. His argument? It would brighten the room and feel more modern. My argument? Painting over 120+ years of original wood, craftsmanship, and carved details should probably require a permit and a psychological evaluation. 😂 I love the warmth of the wood and how it showcases all the vintage treasures I’ve collected over the years. He thinks white paint would make everything stand out more. So tell me honestly: preserve the original wood or paint it white? Am I being overly sentimental, or is this hutch too beautiful to cover up? Please cast your votes before this turns into a full-scale decorating crisis. 🤎✨

@Xmuskcoco I have never met him personally so I can’t really say. He appears to be an amazingly generous man. Excellent to his employees, gave them stock. Gives free internet with his Starlink to impoverished areas and war torn for free… 🤷🏼
