Columbia AAB responding to a new start (#CanyonFire or #PaloPintoIncident) east of San Jose while Hollister AAB and Paso Robles AAB work the #CarmelFire. Everybody helps where they can.

@cvvhrn @PaintingSurfer It’s based at the Marina airport and I was just there looking to show it to someone. The navel post graduate school has its own hanger for it and others? I read it was also used from some autonomous piloting testing programs.

@rbyrnereilly @WatcherCtp Was Greyhawk12 and flew from Chico to Salinas. Saw the same thing in Moss Landing the day after thanksgiving. Great spot!

@ai6yrham The launch is in 12 hrs. Lots of confusion as many use EST for rendering the date the 24th, when it will actually fly on 23rd.

This is my favorite picture of Neil Armstrong. He’s so young and his face is pure joy. My face probably had a similar look after many of my youthful flights at Edwards in the 1980s!
