. When we re-discover that Christ came for “the lost sheep of Israel” first and foremost, then we can contextualize many things He said that were NOT meant for us directly. So, search and research statements He made - then ask yourself, was this meant for me today? Or for someone else, at the time in which He spoke it? Want one example? “Go sell all your possessions… then follow me…” (Matthew 19:21) You’re going to be enlightened how many “popular” sayings Christ said that were NOT meant directly for Christians…

. OUR Father! From Me to We. The very first word of The Lord’s Prayer reveals  that though God counts the number of hairs  on your head, and indeed cares individually for you and your unique prayers -  God counts and cares for every one of the 8 billion people on the earth too! All humanity is created in  God’s image and for His  pleasure. He loves us all! We are all linked  in a marvelous and  mysterious way. Never more true than when we pray. Like a pebble dropped in the water creating countless  ripple effects out to the sea  - so every prayer request  and its response has,  be it major or minute,  an effect on humanity  and the earth. “Thy Kingdom Come,  Thy Will Be Done On Earth  As It Is In Heaven!” Pray attention to the tension felt when we go from ME to WE. It’s a GOoD thing. Though difficult to  comprehend, everything  God does for us as individuals  is not an isolated or a stand alone experience. Every prayer request and  its response will have some  form of impact on every person;  every tribe, tongue and territory.  A simple  prayer for a Better Job  turns out to be a  complicated request.  Imagine the alignments  required. All the circumstances,  finances, other people’s  decisions, the timing -  a myriad of things  become  necessary for perfect  aligning for that one  prayer request to manifest -  WHEW!  Yet, OUR Heavenly Father  promises us that He hears  and will answer every  prayer we pray - personally.  We are to ask in faith and believe that we will receive! No prayer request is too  BIG that God is  intimidated, or no request too SMALL  that He would be  insulted. God’s answer to our prayers  are always YES or KNOW.  Yes and Amen to every  promise,  or KNOW as in, God KNOWS best. God KNOWS exactly  WHEN and HOW the  answer should come. It’s always a Win/When! Remember, every prayer  effects every person  on earth. This is a  powerful yet perplexing  paradox to understand.  Don’t be overwhelmed. When you pray, start by simply saying,  “OUR Father…,” then have absolute conviction  the Father hears and will  respond to you as though  you’re His ONLY child! From each single strand  of hair on your head,  to every single heir  of God on the earth,  Father hears and cares. You can take  that personally! Phil Munsey

. The Woe Factor. Beware and aware of mainstream Religion and their take on Prosperity, “Woe, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” (Matthew 23:13). They wonder and sigh at Signs and Wonders Yet question all efforts to relieve people of needless sufferings. They love crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s of manmade laws, caring only for what they alone think. Writing laws on naive minds with their embalming ink. They know no power, they offer no life. Ah, but the Greek they know and Hebrew too, but have no fresh revelational clue. They’ll criticize prosperity, while under their theological knows the financial struggles of people painfully grows. Blind leading blind quoting and toting their hopeless pitch, as Kingdom-Drive to impact culture weaves in the ditch. They encourage poverty as a sought-out piety. Avoiding the responsibility of affluence and influence in our society. We’ve become a weak, crown-less, saltless, apathetical spectacle. All the while they block the door and lay burdens on others they themselves cannot carry. Led as-sleep to the slaughter, many follow in a lazy daze. The “religious correct” mark you as a heretic if you dare not heed their theological rhetoric. I declare, He rose. He reigns. We rose. We reign. Get off that cross, put on your crown. My heart is broken, but my Kingdom resolve is not, make no mistake. I say, “Get The Kingdom of Heaven Out of The Way, For Christ Sake!” ⁃Phil Munsey

. The Prepared Place... "In My Father's house are many dwelling places... I go to prepare a place for you; and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." (John 14:2-3) The high priest under the old covenant PREPARED a place of meeting through ritual, blood, washing, incense furniture, order, and sacrifice. But now. Jesus, our great High Priest, has prepared "the way" into the Holy Place... No more mere symbol, nor types and shadows, distant patterns, No more rehearsal without reality. The Light has stepped out from behind the curtain and on the center stage of HiStory... The WAY to the true Holy Place has been opened. Hebrews tells us that we have "boldness to ENTER THE HOLIEST by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh." (Hebrews 10:19-20) He did not just prepare a place for us later. He prepared a way for us NOW! "That where I am, there you may be also." This is why Resurrection Sunday matters so deeply. The way is open. The veil is torn. The priestly work complete. The Lamb has prevailed. The blood speaks. The door is open. Once you see this, you cannot unsee it. A place of nearness. A place of peace. A place of pardon. A place of bold access. A place where mercy triumphs over shame. A place where what was once shadow becomes substance in Him. Christ has PREPARED a place, He has come to us through the Holy Spirit and made His Home with us - NOW! (John 14:23) .

. God has ANSWERS looking for a PRAYER! Strategic Kingdom assignments are ready to be manifested on earth (in us) as it is in Heaven. Pray with and in the Spirit - now! Everything God does on earth is an answer to a PRAYER. I have a sense of urgency that if you are reading this, consider stopping and being still for just a few holy moments - pray as the Holy Spirit prompts. Pray until you get a witness in your inner-man (gut), that you’ve made the connection. (Gut checks rarely bounce!) It won’t take but a few moments. There. Now pray attention to what’s happening throughout the next few days. Watch and Pray - something very evident will manifest. God bless these sacred holy moments, Amen. .

. Let’s not demonize others over doctrine! With 53 years of full-time ministry experience, I’ve noted how my own doctrines has evolved and my resolve adjusted. And those I once held captive in my “heresy” prisms, have been pardoned, even been given newfound respect and unexpectedly come to an agreement. I once embraced a “sanctified” legalistic doctrine of “do’s and don’ts” that would make some of the newly famed “Tell it like it is” preachers look seeker sensitive, and water-down compromisers by comparison. I have come to believe in, and trust more, in the great TEACHER - the Holy Spirit. I’m learning that if He isn’t capable of convicting, confronting, conforming and leading us into all Truth, then surely our judgement and hardline stances can do no better. I’m afraid we have come to believe that without our help, God Himself isn’t capable of managing His own Church. Honestly, we may need our “yeah but’s…” kicked, and show a bit more grace towards each other! Speaking of “yeah but…” maybe there is ONE exception… …If you believe you possess all truth, and that your creeds as you now understand them is all you need, and everyone else should listen to you and take heed… …then YOU are a heretic! No, just kidding “Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; but the latter out of love…Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.” (Philippians 1:15-18)

. After reading some of @McConaughey poems in, Poems & Prayers, I temporarily got intimidated and wrote this; #poems&prayers ———— Write On Picked up your book, read your poems. So, so good - I had to drop my pen, take a second look. “Why write?” I said. Stunned by your creativity, your brutal vulnerability, your tears tear into my soul. No need, I thought, to put my think to ink. Spare the tree - my words just don’t ring. Just let it be. Let it be. That thin line between being inspired and being expired? Well, intimidation exposed my limitations. Thin line crossed, desire lost. Fire gone. My soul chilled. Yet buried deep inside, embers still burn. Though small, they churn. I turn. Pondering gave way to wondering. Words began leaking out my iron-locked chest. Must find my pen - and where’s that darn journal? I’ll tear a leaf from that gnarled old tree, and indeed put ink to my think. With paper and pen my heart reopens. I’m ready to write again. Write On. Phil Munsey 9/27/25 Lord help me to be inspired, not intimidated - to accept my limitations without giving in, and giving up. I matter. My voice counts. I will pursue.

. End in Mind In the end, it's not what you have but what you gave. Not who you've known but who you’ve grown. Not just what you believe but what you leave. Choose or lose, a legacy-driven life or a just-for-me-lie? Live with the end in mind. Phil Munsey

. Unbroken. Keeping your word can break your heart. But know this, a broken heart will eventually heal. Breaking your word may never. It gives deeper meaning to the mantra: “Your word is your bond.” Be true to your word, and your word will be true to you. Our words spoken should not be broken. Speak truth as if your soul depends on it - because it does. Phil Munsey

. Seeing Past Your Noes! The inspiring biblical story of Gideon demonstrate we don’t always need everyone on board to achieve our victories. We don’t need everything to go our way in order of reaching our dreams. With an already small army of 32,000 men, and facing three opposing armies, each with much larger armies, Gideon knew the odds were stacked against him. But with God, unfavorable odds matter very little. As it turns out, Gideon only needed 300 soldiers to say YES to the call, assuring him of victory and his place in history. The greater challenge Gideon faced would be in not allowing the 31,700 NOES to shake down his faith. Gideon saw past his noes! What about you? What if you could have 300 yeses toward your life’s dreams. Yes to your soul mate, Yes to the house you desire, Yes to having children, Yes to obtaining the financial goals set for your legacy? Yes, yes, yes times 300! Like Gideon, you too may face 31,700 noes. No! We are hiring someone else. No! You don’t qualify for the loan. No, no, no, times 31,700! This can be devastating. Sometimes it may seem like all you are getting in life is noes. But keep your faith. Keep your tenacity, and like Gideon, See past Your Noes! Don’t let discouragement cause you to draw back, or to lower your expectations and compromise your dreams. It’s tough to keep taking punches in the noes. I get it. And in an attempt to protect yourself from personal rejection, you can easily begin to put aside the high expectation you set for your dreams. Don’t! Every no encountered actually moves you closer to those precious 300 yeses awaiting for in your destiny! You Got This!

. Dispensational Eschatology has expired! The tried and tired manipulation of calendars and clocks to fit a “Johnny-Darby-come-lately” last daze craze theory has itself come to its last days! Time for sincere hearts to press a RESET on our hand-me-down commentaries on The Revelation of Jesus Christ, and take a second look at the second coming as we pass into the second millennium of world dominance and will soon enter into the 50th Jubilee Generation of The New Covenant of Christ! Time has expired for lame excuses, lazy explanations, shameful extortions of fear-mongering, end-of-the-world threats. I mean no offense, but can no longer defend a bended theology that scoffs and mocks historic teaching on the Rule and Reign of Christ until His enemies be made His foot stool! Ready or not, Jesus Is Coming in revelation, and His reign will be on earth as it is in Heaven! Unpack your bags, shine your reign in Christ crown and let’s see the Glory of God through Christ cover the earth! Maranatha!

. The Judge Knot Dilemma Someone has to do it. But woe to those who must judge! Three dynamics of Judging are; - What I touch in judgement touches me! - What I judge in my enemies reveals hidden issues In-A-Me! - What’s my reaction to judgement others receive? Do I Rejoice or remorse? Resist The Nudge To Judge! It's difficult, quite frankly, there's so much needing to be judged right? We must learn to turn our burn for justice into prayer for others, and be more focused on Just-Us! Phil Munsey

. Some mean well, others, well they’re just mean. Why do we assume harsh preaching is synonymous with speaking Truth? Far be it the truth. Truth is to be spoken in Love and with gentleness. The only mean display Christ ever manifested was in turning the tables on the money-changers thieves who were “up-selling” the sacrifices needed to present to the priest. Pity those who today “up-sell” the message of sacrifice when - Christ Himself has already paid the once and for all, and all time ultimate sacrifice! Grace insulters. Thieves. Mean.

. SCARCASM: A language of hurt. A word I’ve coined fusing sarcasm and scars. This generation has experienced the most dramatic deterioration of integrity among authority figures in human history. Deeds of abuse and misuse of power from one generation. have become seeds sowed into the next. Pastors, priest, politicians, professors, even parents. A harvest of hurt has been reaped. We weep. Reconciliation begins with humility, humility that doesn’t make it personal, nor take it personal. Lack of respect and responsibility is the resulting casualties of Moral breakdown and breaking of trust between the powerful and the vulnerable. Time will heal, Patience is love revealed. Measured words not provoking offense or defense will beyond our intent, behind our content. Accepting our role in this integrity debt is the beginning of the end of this mess. Our currency? Empathy, therapy, philanthropy, accepting responsibility. Forgive us our debts. Listen in humility. Be interested, rather than interesting. Sow respect to the young, though undeserved, yet indebted to. Pray fervently. Love unconditionally. Wait patiently. Phil Munsey

. Babylon’s Heaviest Sin “Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, ‘Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.” (Revelation 18:21) Oh Babylon, for what you have done to the children, a milestone awaits. There are sins men debate. And there are sins Heaven answers with weight. Jesus did not soften the warning: “If you harm a little one, a millstone would be mercy.” A millstone. “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6, also Mark 9:42, Luke 17:2) Not a passing consequence. Not a light correction. But a crushing weight. A stone so vast it does not drift, it drags. It does not splash, it swallows. It does not warn, it buries. Once released, there is no resisting its descent. Revelation echoes the image. Babylon once radiant, roaring, revered. Dressed in splendor. Perfumed with power. Arrayed in arrogance. Beneath the brilliance - violence. Beneath the luxury - exploitation. Beneath the beauty - a marketplace of souls. Yes, the crimes are many. Yes, the horrors are real. Yes, the damage unspeakable. Heaven names the heaviest sin. Babylon’s greatest offense was what it did to the little ones. Not merely harm, but the normalization of harm. Where purity is mocked. Where children are collateral to appetite, profit, and pride. And for this, a millstone. Men measure success. God measures harm. Men admire influence. God defends innocence. Men protect systems. God protects little ones. So be ye separate. Make space between you and the disgrace and embrace the place of Grace. For even now, a noose tightens around Babylon. Soon, in an hour, judgment calls, followed by the fall. But Heaven’s story does not end in collapse. For in Babylon’s demise, The Church will arise. Hear the shouts: “Salvation belongs to the Lord!” Hear the sound long silenced by corruption, the joyful laughter of innocence restored. And kingdoms will learn what Heaven has always declared: Millstones still fall but Grace still reigns. Phil Munsey 2/19/26

The man who died next to Jesus had nothing. No baptism. No communion. No confirmation. No speaking in tongues. No mission trip. No volunteering. No financial gifts. No church clothes. He couldn't even bend his knees to pray. Nails through his wrists meant no folded hands. No sinner's prayer crossed his lips. No altar call for a dying criminal. He was naked. Bleeding. Worthy of death under the law. Jesus didn't remove his pain. Didn't heal his broken body. Didn't silence the crowd mocking them both. Didn't bring him down from that cross. The thief had no testimony to share. No before-and-after transformation story. No time to prove his faith was real. No chance to clean up his life. Just a dying breath used to say: "Lord, remember me." And Jesus blood running down His face Turned to this worthless criminal and promised: "Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." No theologian's spin needed. No brilliant sermon required. No worship team or mood lighting. No haze machines or hip pastor. No coffee bar in the lobby. No small group sign-ups. Just a naked man dying on wood. Unable to move. Unable to serve. Unable to give. Unable to perform. Unable to impress. Unable to earn. All he could do was believe. Believe that the bloodied man next to him Was who He claimed to be. That was it. That was everything. He entered paradise the same hour as Christ. Not because of what he did. Because of who Jesus is. This criminal understood in his final moments What religious men spend lifetimes missing: Salvation isn't in your performance. It's in His promise. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." A thief. A cross. A Savior. A promise. THAT IS ENOUGH.

. You Belong. Isolation is a deceptive substitute for authentic community relation. Separation becomes a quiet treason against our own wholeness and integrity. Forming an inner courtroom where the accuser, defender, and judge all share the same voice. What feels like strength may simply be unchallenged weakness. With no accountability, vision dims. “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety. (Proverbs 11:14) We may feel strong while quietly weakening. Confident while slowly drifting. Isolation fronts an illusion. Community confronts our reality. We begin confusing arrogance as conviction and controlled calm as peace. Our spirituality feels powerful until it is tested. God’s design is different: “Two are better than one… For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10) Bonhoeffer’s wisdom echoes the biblical pattern: “Isolation is the enemy’s playground. Community is God’s training ground.” The most dangerous condition is not weakness acknowledged, but weakness left unexamined. Because isolation doesn’t remove weakness, it removes witnesses. Without witnesses, blind spots grow undetected. “Iron sharpens iron, So one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) No friction. No sharpening. No challenge. No clarity. Spiritual formation requires mirrors, people who love us enough to show us the truth. Without mirrors we’ll always assume we see clearly. So, Who truly knows and noes you? Not your public strength, but your private patterns. Not your gifting, but your gaps. Not your image, but your inner world. Who can you look in the eye and ask, “Whom do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15) Who is allowed to direct and correct you? Transformation doesn’t occur in solitude. Healing is relational. Sharpening is communal. Protection is collective. Maturity does not happen in hiding. It happens in relationship. So be in pursuit of community fellowship - It suits you well. Let all hinderances, hurt and hubris be laid aside. You are beloved and you belong! Phil Munsey 2/16/26 ⸻

. A Thorn with a Point! When God gives us a revelation, that “aha” moment that explodes in our spirit from His Word, remember: REVELATIONS most always come with a “thorn!” Paul spoke of this “thorn in the flesh” lest revelation inflate the messenger. (2 Corinthians 12:7). Here’s a few POINTS to get from these thorns; Revelation must be wrought forth inwardly before it can be brought forth outwardly. From head (illumination), to heart (formation), to hands (application). “For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me…by word and deed.” (Romans 15:18) Revelation is powerful, It’s quite empowering to have a unique angle, a fresh perspective, a keen insight that seemingly no one else has yet obtained! But we know “knowledge puffs up” (1 Corinthians 8:1). Take that empowering revelation and clothe it in humility (humility is the new confidence). Let humility smooth out the cutting edges of the revelation. Don’t let your personal emotions get in the mix. Revelation should instruct, not intimidate. Build, not boast. Always keep in mind, revelation excites, but repetition incites healthy growth. Do not expect quick amens and applause, but rather respect your audience’s contemplative pause. Jesus warned: “No one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’” (Luke 5:39) Revelation needs to be seasoned and shared in the right season. Paul heard truths that were at the time, “unlawful to utter.” (2 Corinthians 12:4). John was prepared to write what the thunders declared, but God restrained him: “Seal up those things… and do not write them.” (Revelation 10:4) Often revelations are personal. Not all things God reveals are meant to be told or sold! So, the next time a revelation bursts forth from your study and prayer time, pray attention to the “Thorns with a Point” that always come with revelation! In our human weakness, GRACE is not only sufficient, but expedite too! “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) - Phil Munsey
