I don’t see a thing wrong with this and he certainly didn’t lose it. He reads as someone who has been playing this game for decades and knows how things can spiral. He’s establishing boundaries, the crowd listened, and he obliged. Zero drama.

When you think Southampton couldn’t sink any lower; it seems a load of their fans have spent the last few hours claiming some sort of moral victory over Middlesbrough. Yet again proving they are the most arrogant, delusional fanbase in the land. No class, no humility, no way back

Credit to Hull but disagree with ‘football wins’. The main thing I object to is that this is any way fairer because ‘Boro already lost’. The game was rightly voided due to cheating. Both sides were rightly there on equal merit.

Wonder if any of the former players and pundits who've been saying that Southampton's punishment was too harsh, might feel a bit daft reading this. I doubt it of course. Boro exposing this and then fighting their corner has been undoubtedly good for the game
