Ich bin Clipse Fan seit Got Caught Dealin & The Funeral (1998/99). Das geplante Album dazu wurde wegen des Misserfolgs der beiden Singles nie veröffentlicht. 28 Jahre später: Grammy für „Chains & Whips“, einen Song, der ebenfalls fast nie veröffentlicht worden wäre. Full-Circle!

DJ Premier kassiert Hate für Light-Years – nicht ganz zu Unrecht mMn. Nas ist im A-Game, richtig starke Song-Konzepte. Preemos Beats tragen das oft, wirken aber teils echt flach. Umso mehr zeigen Havoc & Alchemist auf dem Mobb Deep Album, wie zeitgemäß Boom Bap 2025 klingen kann.
