I'm always amazed at people whose collective ancestry and memory is limited to the Industrial Revolution and later trying to explain what the Chinese want or don't want. I've only ever lived in China as an American expat, and during that time I barely understood the intricacies of a very complex history that is somehow & amazingly shared by almost all the Chinese people in some type of collective memory despite the cultural revolution's attempts to erase them. Once I took the time to study Chinese history, a lot of the CCP policies, or rather the reasons behind them, became clear, sometimes painfully.

A white mom posted a wholesome Mother’s Day photo with her black son and the comments turned racist fast. Then one guy decided to check the profile of someone liking the racist comments… what he found was actually insane. 😭

Believe it or not, the Mormon Church is one big fucking business and run like one. Their sales & marketing department is one of the best in the world. Lots of LDS members, certainly Brother Schultz among them, are astute business people. Source: me, a former LDS.

DPP and party owned media & paid trolls are attacking a teacher for... publicly questioning the vagueness of the DPP's military procurement request Taiwan is no longer a democracy, it's turning into a fascist state where questioning the government turns you into a target.

@Arkasiraee It's an interesting take, but I have my doubts about this because once Trump is gone, and surely this overweight Orange Pedo is not long for the Pearly Gates, there are plenty of China hawks on both sides of America's political spectrum.

I think we are going to see the eventual withdrawal of US influence in Taiwan and Ukraine. Trump is removing Chinese/Russian influence from our hemisphere, Venezuela, Panama, Cuba, etc., and I think Trump wants to remove our presence from China and Russia’s neighborhood as well. Putin and Xi stood down this entire time while Trump removed their influence in our region, and I think they did so in exchange for us to do the same. This fits into my overall thesis that we are seeing the world map be redrawn, and spheres of influence are being consolidated. The US will no longer be the world police, our military is coming home, and the superpowers will be in charge of their respective regions. I think Trump is ending the proxy wars, the espionage, the weapons of mass destruction arms races, the Cold War that never ended, and preventing WW3 before it begins. We will stay in our yard, China/Russia will stay in their yard, and we can trade with each other and coexist peacefully. We can treat each other as global partners, instead of enemies on a collision course for war. I think this is the end goal of the plan. A sustainable and lasting peace.

A segment on Fox explaining to their viewers that Trump wasn’t dominated during a handshake with Xi Arroyo: People were saying XI dominated Trump because of the handshake but look at what Trump does. He gives XI's hand a little swat to diminish whatever that dominant move was at the top

@MeidasTouch Fuck this Supreme Court. Virginia voters approved the map. The Constitution says “We the People,” not “We the billionaire-funded thugs in robes protecting Republican power.”

Complete and utter nonsense. If you knew anything about China, you would know that stability (稳定) means everything to Chinese people. Throughout their 5,000 year history China was nothing but unstable (不稳定). Dynasties rose and fell for thousands of years until the current Chinese government came to power and established that stability for the nation. You might not like that (we all know you hate it) but it doesn’t matter what you and I, both outsiders in China, think about the government. China is for Chinese people and their government is one of the most supported governments in the world, because it offers that stability. You are simply a war monger and trying to push propaganda that China wants to take over the world and therefore is a threat to US interests. This is completely false and both nations needs each other and should be working with each other. Grateful more people are waking up to this idea and walking away from the propaganda you and other US think tanks are promoting
Isaac Stone Fish@isaacstonefish

Stop saying that Xi wants stability. He doesn't want stability, he wants to increase China's power globally. That is intensely destabilizing. You can love China or hate it, you can feel like the Chinese Communist Party is good for the world or bad: stability in U.S.-China relations does not help Xi Jinping accomplish his international goals. Why do people keep making this mistake? Because they keep taking Xi Jinping's remarks at face value. It's a mistake journalists don't make nearly as often with politicians, but somehow, they decide that Xi communicates what he actually means.

The funny thing is Yaqui being completely oblivious to the simple fact that foreigners are not eligible to become Chinese citizens BUT they are eligible to become Chinese Permanent Residents and when that happens it usually results in a social media post that shows tremendous gratitude and thanks to China for giving them the ability to live and work in China indefinitely 😉
Yaqiu Wang 王亚秋@Yaqiu

The funny thing is, even the foreigners who rave about China the most would not want to become Chinese citizens. No one wants to live under that level of censorship and surveillance, and be subjected to a government that wields unaccountable power.

You can’t have a genocide in Xinjiang when the Uyghur population has increased every year consecutively for the last 30 years. Xinjiang is the most popular tourist destination in all of China right now. This is simply a baseless accusation from someone with no insider knowledge The only genocide going on in the world right now is the US supported genocide of Gaza. Educate yourself Michael. This is what a genocide looks like 👇

Xi Jinping is currently overseeing an ongoing genocide of Uyghurs inside China, but sure, go ahead and celebrate this vapid flattery.
