@ryanl_hass I don't disagree with the data but have you walked the non-direct admin cities in Taiwan? Nobody outside of that small circle is benefiting. When I visited last year the speed of dilapidation and crumbling infrastructure is very obvious when you step out of Taipei.

To my Twitter friends reacting to this data - I agree several things can be true at same time. Taiwan’s economy is growing rapidly, US-Taiwan trade is rising sharply, and both are fueled heavily by US demand for AI chips. If US conditions change, Taiwan economy will feel effects.
