I’ve signed quite a few Dandans for players and given away many too. I’m all out now, again. Today I signed my first Secret Lair Dandan, and one of the same player’s Memory Lapse. The gold paint marker looked great.

@phillikesfights @SadPoor I still love Vision Charm in Dandan. Love playing around it and checking the exile and GY for them before I commit an extra Dandan. I would never build a control deck without a board wipe. It is one mana and instant speed but its other utility in a decking end game is worth it.

Haven’t posted since the announcement. Wanted to share my early Christmas present from Wizards. They made sure I got one and I am grateful. It’s beautiful. I hope everyone who wants one can get one in March.

My favorite thing about the viral rise of Dandan is that it inspired others to create Magic variants and experiment with the game. Magic has always been a sandbox game. Get in the box, and let’s play.

@FuzzyShocker Cool. I’ve seen that one. It looks very cool. Full disclosure, I used generative AI (Chat GPT) for the card frame illustrations and assembled the text and Magic stuff in Photoshop and InDesign.

I got to hang out at WotC HQ today. And meet a whole bunch of cool people. And play some Magic variants. And look what they gave me. So cool.

@joelaremagic This is another part of vision. Design by enabling creative play. DanDan and Oathbreaker exist as love letters to magic and opportunity for more cards to be good, like PWs, rare I/s, counters etc. Some players understand magic differently, and outside the rules, gleefully.
