I’m so stressed an article I’ve spent 10+ hours on is going to be killed b/c it’s a Q+A and the sources answers are too dry. I agreed to a 25% kill fee b/c the editor told me they rarely kill a story. Going to do a 2nd interview but nervous it won’t be enough to polish the piece.

Clear up your desktop. Mine currently features 4 photos of my dog in his dressing gown (don’t ask), my portfolio from 2018 (yup, it’s probably been sitting there for 4 years), and a bunch of selfies I’ve hastily edited for DIY headshots. Not great, is it?
