The Audemars Piguet x Swatch collaboration is great for Swatch customers but not so great for avid AP clients 😂 The main reason why people buy expensive luxury watches is the exclusivity—this is the selling point. So the fact that a person can own a product with an AP badge at a fraction of the cost is bound to ruffle some feathers in the luxury watch industry. The “elites” might feel like the luxury brand they love is being diluted. AP and Swatch customers exist on two opposite spectrums 😂 This is the equivalent of Ferrari collaborating with Toyota. As a Toyota driver it would be something to brag about but not so much for the Ferrari driver😂 I exist on the opposite side of the spectrum so absolutely I love it…I need one 😂
