A single frame from a 30 second @planet satellite video of the Indus in Pakistan. The @UK_CEH led #FluViSat team will now calculate flow speeds to test our method for high impact flood events. Soon we hope to be able to provide near real-time data to help manage such events.

Deadline for the special issue "River Flow Monitoring: Needs, Advances and Challenges" has been extended to December 15th.
