@urmonotheismus Well, people respond to familiarity and are more likely to be excited about a shameless copy-paste of another well known and liked work. If you create something original that has no comparison, it's indigestible to your average NPC that derives their taste from popular trends.

@IndieGameJoe This, but anti-AI gamers should also be supporting indie devs that are handcrafting their games with heart and soul instead of AI. If my lovingly handcrafted game got a wishlist for every time I saw this sentiment I'd be happy, but people don't put their 💲where their 👄 is.

I don't read a lot of books because they honestly feel like firmware updates to my reality. The last two books I read were '1984' and 'Valis' -- both around 2008 -- and I've been living in a Gnostic, hyper-surveillanced, dystopian nightmare timeline ever since.
