6/6 Hoy regresamos y recuperamos los cuerpos enterrados de 8 miembros de la MLRP, 6 de la Defensa Civil y 1 de la ONU. Murieron uniformados. Conducían sus vehículos claramente identificados. Llevaban guantes. De camino a salvar vidas. Esto nunca debió haber sucedido.

6/6 Today, on the first day of Eid, we returned and recovered the buried bodies of 8 PRCS, 6 Civil Defense and 1 UN staff. They were killed in their uniforms. Driving their clearly marked vehicles. Wearing their gloves. On their way to save lives. This should never have happened

5/6 Al día siguiente, pudimos llegar al lugar y descubrimos escena devastadora: ambulancias, vehículo ONU y camión bomberos habían quedado aplastados y parcialmente enterrados. Tras horas de excavación, recuperamos un cuerpo: el de trabajador Defensa Civil bajo su camión bomberos

5/6 Returning the next day, we were finally able to reach the site and discovered a devastating scene: ambulances, the UN vehicle, and fire truck had been crushed and partially buried. After hours of digging, we recovered one body - a Civil Defense worker beneath his fire truck.

4/6 Durante nuestro viaje a la zona el 5º día, nos encontramos con cientos de civiles que huían bajo los disparos. Vimos a una mujer con un disparo en la nuca. Cuando un joven intentó rescatarla, también recibió un disparo. Logramos recuperar su cuerpo con nuestro vehículo de ONU

4/6 While traveling to the area on the fifth day we encountered hundreds of civilians fleeing under gunfire. We witnessed a woman shot in the back of the head. When a young man tried to retrieve her, he too was shot. We were able to recover her body using our UN vehicle.

1/6 Los socorristas nunca deberían ser un objetivo. Sin embargo, hoy @UNOCHA apoyó @PalestineRCS y a Defensa Civil para rescatar a sus compañeros de una fosa común en #Rafah #Gaza que estaba marcada con la luz de emergencia de una de sus ambulancias destrozadas.
