Announcement time! I’ve been busy… The CryptoPunks.eth marketplace is a great way to explore the Punks we know and love. I am pleased to announce that after a greenlighted Phunks community proposal #60 (code name: A New Chapter), we are now rolling out a platform similar to the CryptoPunks.eth marketplace, for Phunks - the left-facing Punk derivative collection designed to be censorship-resistant and deeply in line with the cypherpunk ethos that makes blockchain so important. Phunks have had a boisterous history: created by @Zagabond, arguably rugged, then handed over to the holders, who have built a strong community that has weathered legal challenges, OpenSea delisting, and more. As crypto and NFTs return to the values that uphold free information and celebrate remixing, it’s time for Phunks to create a new narrative and connect with a whole new community of collectors who are coming into the space today. The Phunks marketplace at cryptophunks.com gives Phunks fans a chance to explore, track, trade and analyze, just like CryptoPunks.eth.limo does. We are so grateful to the Phunks community for supporting our proposal and making this new marketplace a reality. What’s next? A marketplace for @v1punks is very close to launching packed with some ground breaking features! CryptoPunks, v1 Punks and Phunks are deeply interconnected in NFT history, and each project has its own distinct, interesting lore.
