Today was my last day on Mark Ward stroke & neurology - what an absolutely fantastic ward & MDT, I have loved every minute. The people on this ward are a credit to @GSTTnhs - doing magical things for their patients & making it a lovely environment to work in

@physiorachajb My Dad is terminally ill and had almost given up with the shock and grief. It was a brilliant young physio who told him to be getting out of bed and walking. He gave him exercises to do. This had such a monumental change on Dad's psychological frame of mind. I will never forget

Physiotherapy is so much more than back pain & massage, we are a diverse profession of which all facets deserve to be appreciated People are ignorant to the help physios provide until it’s their hour of need, please stop devaluing us - this profession is incredible

@emilyydes Good luck!! There’s usually a prioritisation Q- focus on justifying your order; assessing a deteriorating resp patient (A-E Ax); MSK/neuro Ax/Rx + Qs on Trust values/professionalism. Try be yourself & think about why YOU want the job - not the other way around :)

@ShaunLintern @thecsp Physio’s have always been on ICU & we do much more than prone - we provide early mobility in ICU, we perform airway clearance on the sickest patients & assist with ventilation weaning & much more - thank you for your support but please educate yourself properly

4k @thecsp physiotherapists are striking today. They were there during Covid drafted onto ICU wards to prone patients. They ensure people recover faster and get back to their life sooner. They keep patients out of hospital. People like me don't write nearly enough about them.
