My sabbatical for next year was granted! Six more weeks of this semester and then 16 months off. My plan: Do a ridiculous amount of writing. 😁

@SaraDoesScience I always have that problem, especially in upper-division labs. I want them to be scientists and make the connections, but they don't usually unless I explicitly ask them to!

One year ago today we found out my brother had terminal cancer. This morning, exactly 1 year later we watched him pass. Thankful I got to be with him at the end. Make them smile and hug 'em tight while you can
