日本語で書いてあった漫画を読んだり日本語インスタを使ったりするほど読み理解スピードがだんだん早くなっていると気づいた それと比べるとスピーキングと作成が別の話だけどなぁ

@gyakkouz the initial learning curve for japanese is pretty steep, learning hiragana 5 at a time is what i did and then you can just use a Genki 1 pdf as a guide for the foundations. also there's no shortcuts to kanji, learn what the book teaches as you go or you'll be in hell later

any tips on how to stop being a pussy and learn japanese? seeing any japanese kanji gives me a headache and i’m pretty sure i get nauseous when i see hiragana.

@SUIKAkyana @kochirayoto 基本的にこういうことです in は「なか」の意味です。「I'm in the park」というのは「公園の区域の中」 一方で、「I'm at the park」でいうと「公園にいるが、どこかにいるのは具体的言われてない」という意味です 日本語がまだまだので説明がわかりやすくないならすみません🙇🏽‍♂️

@merrygomaru the 12 key! its a learning curve but i think its good practice when typing in japanese to get out of the habit of en -> jp and the romaji keyboard sort of kept me in english romanization mode

@LoppyRae we have ours on all the time because we like to see what the other person is up to! it's also a safety thing in case something happens. but i can see how if someone has trust issues it could go sour very fast
