Come downstairs for a cooked breakfast to start the day without the need to wash up afterwards. The smell of bacon from the kitchen gets me every time!

Beautiful day for walking in the #PeakDistrict. Travelled 35 minutes towards Buxton to walk the fabulous Dragon’s Back. It was steeper than expected in places but the views were breathtaking!

The picturesque village of Tissington is only 15 minutes from Rose and Crown House and their well dressings are not to be missed!

It’s been a busy few months behind the scenes at Rose and Crown House as we prepare to reopen the B&B next week. The breakfast room is coming together and we’re a little bit in love with the panelling!

@DanSmith1984 Lathkill Dale near Bakewell is a lovely walk and you can get great ice creams from @Tagglanedairy in nearby Monyash. Tissington and Ilam are both really pretty villages close to the iconic Dovedale and Thorpe Cloud, and Ashbourne is well worth a visit. Have a great holiday!
