We are now forced to close intake and not help anymore cats until we find homes for the adoptable cats in our care. We literally have no more space and I'm having to say no to cats who will die without us.
all these kittens are still here.

🚨 SF BAY AREA it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔

It never stops. A few hours ago I picked up a young stray in very rough shape, his bone is exposed on his left arm and his flesh is absolutely rotting away. He's super thin and extremely weak.

he went peacefully today and surrounded by love. my roommates took me to get ice cream, snacks, and food after. we watched cartoons and rested after the long day.

losing two cats in a year is so hard. pickles was so sudden, and not even 10. sylvester is almost 15. i feel so guilty for choosing this option. but he’s not himself anymore. he isn’t happy. and I don’t want him to suffer any longer than he has to. my sweet old man.

i posted him on here occasionally, so i should let you all know that I’m going to call the vet in the morning about putting sylvester down. his health has started declining rapidly since last week and he already wasn’t doing great since his early kidney disease diagnosis.

@picklegoblin I am so, so sorry. I know what you're going through. I had to put my Oliver down three weeks ago and that was the hardest decision. You're being a loving, responsible pet parent knowing you baby is suffing and isn't going to get better.💔🫂
