We need to $RETIRE NOW! We work 8 hours a day to enjoy 5 hours in the evening. We work 5 days a week to enjoy 2 days on the weekend. We work 48 weeks a year to enjoy 4 weeks of vacation. We work 50 years to enjoy 5–10 years in retirement. Then we wonder why we’re anxious and depressed all the time. Time is our most valuable asset – once it’s gone, you’ll never get it back. Fuck that shit. DCA and grind hard. $RETIRE! The Last Play! Our bloodline is counting on us. 🏴

They Are Scamming Us Part 7! Last follow up post on this list, I assume you get my point by now WE WILL OWN $NOTHING AND BE HAPPY! Let’s make this a lengthy one because it’s the final 🤩 Airlines: You buy the plane ticket thinking the price you see is the price you pay… but the base fare is just the start. Want to pick your seat, bring a carry-on bag, check luggage, or even board early? Each step adds another fee. The same flight can end up costing wildly different amounts depending on how many “extras” they slice off the original ticket 😨 Smart Fridges: You spend $3,000+ on a fancy connected refrigerator with a big screen and smart features… but many of the recipe services, grocery integrations, and advanced AI functions now rely on online services that can be changed, limited, or shut down anytime. The hardware is yours, but the useful features live on someone else’s server 🫣 Smart TVs: You spend $800–$2,000 on a new television… but many brands are now experimenting with showing ads directly on your home screen and even over live inputs. Some models also track what you watch to sell data to advertisers. You bought the TV… but the TV is monetizing you 😨 Smart Locks: You buy a $200+ smart lock for your front door, but remote access, activity history, guest codes, and automation features are often locked behind premium cloud subscriptions depending on the brand 😫 HP Printers: You purchase the printer and the ink cartridges… yet the printer can remotely disable itself if your Instant Ink subscription lapses. Even if you already have full ink cartridges installed, the printer may refuse to print until the subscription is active again 🫣 Tesla: You pay $50k–$90k+ for the electric car, but software-locked features like Full Self-Driving capability, acceleration boosts, and premium connectivity require additional purchases or monthly subscriptions after you already own the vehicle 🫠 Ring Doorbells: You buy the smart doorbell hardware, install it on your home, and connect it to Wi-Fi… but if you want video history, recorded clips, and the ability to review motion events later, you need the Ring Protect subscription 😫 Adobe Software: You used to buy creative software once and own it forever… now tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator are only available through monthly subscriptions. Stop paying, and the software you relied on instantly locks you out 🫣 DO YOU SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING? IN THE FUTURE YOU WILL GET A SHELL OF A PRODUCT THAT WON’T FUNCTION PROPERLY… YOUR TV WILL SHOW ADS EVEN THOUGH YOU BOUGHT IT YOUR PRINTER WON’T PRINT YOUR CAR WILL HAVE FEATURES LOCKED YOUR DOORBELL WON’T SAVE VIDEO YOUR SOFTWARE WILL STOP WORKING UNLESS YOU PAY AN EXTRA SUBSCRIPTION! ARE YOU GETTING IT YET?! YOU WILL OWN $NOTHING AND BE HAPPY, MY FRIENDS 😏
