𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗭𝘆𝗻𝗫 Hello, this is Gen.G Esports. We would like to share that "ZynX" Dongha Kim will be taking a break from competition ahead of VCT 2026 Stage 2 to focus on recovering from a wrist injury. Since Stage 1, ZynX has been experiencing persistent wrist pain. To prevent the injury from worsening, he has been receiving medical treatment while minimizing his practice schedule. During the recent EWC 2026 Qualifier, we also made every effort to support his recovery by having him sit out scrims and only participate in official matches. Unfortunately, despite these measures, his condition has worsened to the point where it has begun affecting his daily life. Following consultations with multiple medical professionals, ZynX was advised to refrain from using his wrist and focus on a full recovery through an extended period of rest. After numerous in depth discussions between ZynX, Gen.G management, and Head Coach 'solo' Keunchul Kang, we collectively agreed that his long term health and career must come first. As a result, he will take the remainder of the season to focus entirely on his recovery.
