The hack most of this guys use to sell their private groups is that there’s bigger (better connected) guys in that there which means you get better “conviction” on the trades and can afford to maximize profit wise, because for a couple of the trench GCs I’m in, this is average/bare minimum returns, the key difference is, it’s largely random gambles with less conviction and the odd thesis driven trade
