Understanding what the issue is, and resolving it with humility and empathy- great lesson I can learn and emulate. Proverbs 18:15 15An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Tom Hanks originally had no accent planned for Forrest Gump (1994), but after director Robert Zemeckis realized the child actor playing young Forrest couldn’t mimic his voice, Hanks rebuilt the entire character’s speech around the boy’s real Mississippi drawl instead.

Proof that remote unmanned robots can now hold infantry positions indefinitely. TWW127, a Ukrainian robot, sat on position alone for 45 days and did not budge. Daily forward overwatch at contested sector, suppressive fire halting enemy advances.

Japan just unveiled a drone made entirely of cardboard. It flies at 120 km per hour, can be assembled in 5 minutes, and is designed to be used in massive swarms. The craziest part is it can be mass produced at any regular cardboard factory. The future is cheap.

This is exactly why you don't force kids into sports. Alysa Liu's entire life was dedicated to skating. Not by choice, but because her father demanded it. She won the US Championship at 13, but announced her retirement at 16. She threw her skates in the closet and decided to experience the world. She hiked to Everest base camp, got her driver's license and studied at UCLA. After a ski trip in 2024, she had the itch to lace them up again and nailed a double axel. She announced her comeback, but only on her terms. She wouldn't allow her father (or anyone) to tell her what to eat, when to train or how to dress. The result was athletic and creative liberation. Despite the hiatus, Alysa entered Milan as the favorite to win gold and delivered on the hype.

BREAKING: China's autonomous "killer robots" are on track to serve its military on the battlefield within two years, setting a course for a new age of AI-powered warfare which one expert called "the greatest danger to the survival of humankind." Remote forms of warfare, from drones to cyberattacks, have played an increasingly central role in this century's theatres of war. Control of the skies with unmanned aerial vehicles has been critical issue in the ongoing war in Ukraine, and last week, the U.S. Department of Defense unveiled a fresh $1 billion investment to upgrade its drone fleet. Several major powers have taken this development a step further, and begun to develop fully autonomous, AI-powered "killer robots" to replace their soldiers on the battlefield. "I would be surprised if we don't see autonomous machines coming out of China within two years," Francis Tusa, a leading defence analyst, told National Security News. He added that China was developing new AI-powered ships, submarines, and aircraft at a "dizzying rate." "They are moving four or five times faster than the States," he warned. China and Russia are already reported to have collaborated on the development of AI-powered autonomous weaponry. Per Newsweek
