Whenever I bring up that the rich should not be taxed more than they currently are (because they pay a disproportionate share already), the elementary response I get from leftists is that I am a “simp for billionaires.” Nope, not all. I think billionaires have too much influence on our government, for instance. George Soros. Bill Gates. Mark Zuckerberg. And, yes, even Elon Musk. That’s a separate topic of discussion, but I’m no “simp” for them. But what leftists don’t know or seem to understand is that most billionaires in the world don’t have that much cash on hand. Their “net worth” is largely tied up in stocks / ownership in companies they founded and/or acquired. They don’t have tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in liquid assets on hand like most Democrat-voting retards think. So, if you “tax the rich,” their companies are what get taxed, and the billionaire CEOs are simply going to pass that tax onto consumers by raising the prices of their products and/or services. Then what? Ya gonna complain about how you can’t afford anything? That’s how economics work. But then again, facts aren’t really a friend to left-wingers because truth isn’t in their value set. It’s just “muh feelings.” Leftists don’t care about national debt or fiscal responsibility. They’re envious of the rich because they are lazy losers who have accomplished nothing in life and are on welfare sucking off the government teet, bankrolled by taxpayers. Leftists are just jealous since they have no money. But instead of directing their frustration at the government for overtaxing and over regulating everything, they want Big Daddy government to take money away from the rich and give it to them because they are lazy. If Democrats really cared about paying down the debt, they would advocate for spending cuts. The problem, once again, isn’t that the government doesn’t generate enough revenue because the rich don’t pay taxes, it’s because Congress wastes too much money and doesn’t balance a budget. Politicians and bureaucrats alike steal our money and saddle us with the debt and there are no repercussions. But if us peasants fall short on paying taxes, the IRS comes knocking on our doors and you are in trouble. All you ugly blue-haired, neck-bearded, Starbucks-drinking asses can call me a “simp” for the wealthy all you want, but what’s really lame is being a simp for Big Daddy government and fraud.
