The difference is clear. In the North, they throw a few measures of rice to our women as if that is empowerment. In the South, they distribute freezers and other valuable equipment that can actually help people start businesses and earn a living. One side gets tools for economic independence, the other gets temporary handouts. That contrast says everything.

I don’t need to move to UK/Canada, I am already here. I am married, I don’t need to date a celebrity. I can’t become a caterer, my skills are not good enough. This whole list is useless to me, but I can gamble hanging out with Davido. Maybe we can discuss future investments in human capital development.
