The problem is hardly the Jewishness of Axelrod. It would be plausible for the head of the Roman Catholic Church to meet other religious leaders in the spirit of Nostra Aetate. The issue is that Axelrod is an influential political operative from a very anti-religious party and that the topic of the discussion was likely a conspiracy against the elected president.

This afternoon, the day before the annual town election, the Somerset MA, Town Clerk is seen on camera taking ballots out of the locked drop-off box alone. The town clerk is up for re-election this year and is on the ballot. Somerset Massachusetts is the same town that two years ago went viral for the assistant town clerk passing ballots off to a poll worker in their car alone. How is ballot integrity guaranteed in this situation?

Iranian leaders are definitely getting public diplomacy advice from sympathetic Americans. Either that or they are sharing a Claude Pro account. Almost a decade ago, then-Iranian Foreign Minister @JZarif confirmed it: "I consult very widely," Zarif said. Before I tweet, I send emails to a number of serious individuals in Europe and the United States and I ask their views about the implications of the tweets I'm making, and I ask my own colleagues in Tehran." If there were Americans advising Zarif a decade ago, then it makes sense that there are Americans advising Iranian leaders today. Who are the local Iranian advisors who understand how to calibrate messages for American audiences? I think one of them is @RezaNasri1. We are ALL tired of picking the "least bad" candidate every election. The problem? We wait until the ballot is already set exclusively with corporate-party and big-donor-picked candidates, which the media chooses to cover based on their campaign contributions. The fix is obvious: If we want better candidates who actually get regular people, every community has to start now for 2028. Find someone among us. Support them early with time, money, and word-of-mouth. Make them clearly viable from community investment. The choice of whether to run as an Independent, a RINO, or a DINO would be made strategically by district. GOP and DNC primaries are low-turnout elections that could be exploited to secure the primary for the incumbent, or create a head-to-head race in the general election against the incumbent.
