my take on this wastelandia thing is this IS how real people talk now.
this scene is pretty realistic to the experience. if they want to write a story about issues regarding contemporary digiculture, they're gonna say words like reddit or cringe.

@pineapple121101 The highest paid map is Steal the Brainrot which uses AI generated images. They could've just shut that down when they had the chance, but no, they need to appeal to children who aren't able to understand the harm in AI yet. Supporting it is an investment in AI.

The point is that the layoffs happened because of the horrible investment into collaborations and AI content that Epic has been making.
These two issues are indeed correlated.
