We learn a lot from what David wrote. We can learn just as much from how he lived, not his mistakes and reign as king, but his childhood and the time he spent in nature. If you work and live outside like David, tell us in the comments: what have you learned by being in nature?

You don’t have to do anything drastic. “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?” - Romans 6:16 (NKJV)

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” (2 Cor. 5:20, NKJV)

1 Chronicles 8 shows a family full of flaws… yet still used by God. Leadership is not about position but character. Jesus didn’t say “wait for me”, He said “follow me.” #RBHW

When we keep the Sabbath holy, we do the will of our God and Creator. This enhances our relationship and commitment to Him throughout the week.

We often equate wilderness with being lost, but God led His people into the wilderness so HE could be found. Even Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted, but ultimately was attended to by angels. Could God lead you into the wild for a purpose too?

When accused of Sabbathbreaking at Bethesda, Jesus defended Himself by affirming His Sonship to God, and declaring that He worked in harmony with the Father. {DA 284.3}

Family history can influence who you become. But there is a name that changes every story: Yeshua, “He will save His people.” Behold the Lamb and let Him transform your life. #RBHW

The Levites received no land, but God placed them throughout Israel to spiritually influence the nation. God cares for those who serve Him, and His promises remain firm in His plan of redemption. #RBHW

We want to hear God's voice but often look for Him in all the wrong places. Let's follow Elijah's example and strip away the distractions. Next time you're looking for God, head outside and listen for the still, small voice. Comment "Listening."
