@stefen_rosner BTW - So many people are saying that Sorokin or any goalie needs rest. With all due respect, these are professional athletes at the peak of physical conditioning. They aren't playing every single day and their bodies recover very quickly.

@islanders_takes Whether anyone believes in this roster or not isn't the issue, agreeing with MDs moves to me isn't the issue. What is the issue is effort, period. You can have the most talented team in the NHL, but if the effort isn't there, you have a culture/coaching issue & I like P Roy.

#isles I think condemning Darche on Year 1 of his tenure is really not it. I don't love everything he's done but I think you have to give a GM 2-3 seasons at least before you can look at his total body of work and make a real determination. I feel strongly we all believed this roster was not quite good enough the last few years and it's largely unchanged, missing KP, Engvall, Romanov, and Varlamov - but suddenly we're supposed to believe this roster is close to greatness if only our GM didn't trade for some marginal upgrades or adds at the deadline. Just don't think that tracks for me.

You have to respect how they hustled their asses off and played a dominant 3rd period however, should not have gotten to that. Defense was terrible in front of Rittich tonight and they couldn’t buy a goal against Soderblom for 40 minutes. Horrific loss. #Isles

The Islanders have done this awful thing this year, where they play like dogshit against bad teams on home ice. Case in point: Tonight vs CHI, VAN, NSH, WPG, STL. Can't have it.

#isles Losing Pulock is as close to a disaster as you can get headed into this stretch of games. But losing TDA turns lethal. Very few teams could absorb losing #1 and #2 out of the right side. But the Islanders certainly can't.
