who could have forseen buffing an A to S to killer from PTB would be a bad idea. i legit don't know a single downside of the killer. The Game was a mildly difficult map because i couldnt ignore literally every pallet that exists. thats about it.

@ScottJund I do not believe the OTR changes are that bad. Having no scratch marks and straight-up booking to a safe or empty corner of the map is really strong.
You can't do stupid body blocks. You can't just auto-pilot, and heal under hook. I know.
Side grade if used right.

We've decided to not go forward with the anti-tunnel changes though we know getting tunneled is still a huge issue with the game. To compensate, we are making survivors more susceptible to tunneling by nerfing Off the Record.

@anxiousgasp You got hit because of how his power works. He was aiming for the other person on the generator but they moved, ghoul's power can't lock onto generators so it went for the next thing it could lock on to. Understand how a power works before complaining.

It's kind of wild how little Exhaustions, in particular Lithe, Balanced and SB, have been changed. They're the Survivor equivalent of regression perks, core build staples, and yet regressions change all the time.

@DeadbyDaylight Survivor main here! As annoying as slugging is, it’s the only untouched “looked down on” strat left for killer, that is necessary in multiple situations, and even essential for some killers. Please don’t leave them with even less options; I’d rather survivor didn’t feel easier.

Ready for the after party?
We will be extending the Twisted Masquerade Event until July 24 to replace the Chaos Shuffle Modifier that was supposed to run during that time.
This iteration of the Modifier was meant to introduce an anti-slugging solution, but following internal testing, it did not meet our standards. Instead of running the Chaos Shuffle Modifier without any significant changes, we’ll be extending the Event to make our last Masquerade last just a little longer.
➡️ The Event queue will remain open until July 24.
➡️ You will still be able to earn Event currency and unlock Event rewards during that time.
➡️ We will be adding more Quests for you to complete during that additional week.
➡️ The Free Character Trials will be re-enabled between July 17 and July 24. They were temporarily disabled while we worked on an issue.
