Can I be honest? Prime Yuji felt kinda… boring and wasted. Not weak or badly written. Just flattened and lost potential in every measure of writing. The Hoodie thing got old quick, could have easily been a aura farming moment by just taking it off and showing some EMOTION. His Power display was cool but his personality got reduced to "it doesn't matter" and plot progression.

@borgirqing The real answer is that Gege hadn't fleshed out the power system. Now to play Devil's advocate: we know Jujutsu is about simplification, and we know Gojo can use blue to teleport short distances. You could definitely read it as him using an enhanced blue to 'warp' them.
