Thank you to Matt Taylor for sharing this story. It is a difficult one but Matt and his family want it out there in Elsie’s memory. Always worth a reminder too that people in football are dealing with much more important things than their job. skysports.com/football/news/…

Why didn’t #afc suspend Thomas Partey when he was first arrested in 2022? And how come, after a 3yr investigation, he was only charged a few days after his Arsenal contract expired? These questions and more, answered. skysports.com/football/news/…

Devastated about Diogo Jota. Tried to pay tribute here. A great guy and an inspiration. His parents were still paying subs for him to play for his local team at 16. If there’s any consolation it’s that he achieved more than he ever dreamed. skysports.com/football/news/…

It's normal, healthy, admirable even for Trent Alexander-Arnold to be attracted by a new challenge; a different experience and way of life. It's also understandable fans feel 'the normal lad from Liverpool' would be sullying his legacy by leaving on a free with the club on the up skysports.com/football/news/…

The success of football clubs in the North of England, especially on Europe's top stage, is being used to underscore why the area "deserves" such a grand ground and why the UK benefits from having a 100-000 seater sporting venue in the region. The stadium is predicted to take five years to build, halving the initial 10-year estimation Live stream: skysports.com/football/news/… Live blog: skysports.com/football/live-…

Manchester United will pursue a new 100,000-seater ground, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe saying: "Today marks the start of an incredibly exciting journey to the delivery of what will be the world’s greatest football stadium." It has the potential to deliver over £7.3bn per year to the UK economy, including the possible creation of 92,000 new jobs and more than 17,000 new homes.

Spoke exclusively to Oliver Glasner ahead of Palace's MNF meeting with Man Utd. Really interesting on why joining mid-season was a risk and how the players have adapted to his ideas, including a switch to a 3-4-3 #CPFC skysports.com/football/news/…
