@Buggy Hair color theories are silly. So Gunko is Buggy's family and Nami family are Sommers and Gloriosa
But I'd like Buggy being relevant in this flashback. The Xebec pose, the timeline, everything fits. But Xebec being with another woman goes against what we've seen

Neither a weapon nor the ships sank the island;
it really seems that the island sank because of the Rocks vs. Roger & Garp fight (which explains why Garp and Roger wanted their people to leave the island).

@onepiecedaiIys I'd say Buggy, although I'm not sure if he can be cosidered a villain. I realized his potential when Luffy met him again in Impel Down, since then it became one of my favorites
