My girlfriend then (Now ex) will always ask me if my best friend was aware that he was my best friend. The question always sounds weird to me but I'd dismissed it. One day while we were on the phone, I was speaking highly of my friend over a situation we just handled, she got angry and yelled "Can you just stop talking about him like that?" I got mad too cos I was tired of her having issues with him for no reason. In the heat of the argument, she sent me multiple explicit pictures of him he had been sending to her. Before I could process what I was seeing, she sent in screenshots of their conversations, the terrible things he had said about me to her and how he was a better choice than me. Apparently, she had been wanting to tell me about it for long but she saw how blinded I was about the brotherhood, so she needed a solid evidence. Did I confront him over it? lol nah Till date, I never mentioned it to him, I just drifted away from the friendship. This happened in 2017 but I still keep in touch (both of them) till date.

Lol these things you said are yes practiced in the media. It’s not news bro. But context matters. This particular situation is not hot as academy, Oscar or Hollywood awards so it’s more relaxed. She was just rude basic. The guy obviously knows who she is and was trying a good flow format of interview, if she had applied emotional intelligence in that instance, she would easily handle that interview better. Simple.

Foreign celebrities do not typically just walk up to any microphone on a carpet, their teams brief them, plan who they speak to and prepare them for each interview before it happens so by the time the camera is on the interviewer already knows who they are speaking to and the celebrity already knows who is speaking to them. Sometimes a celebrity can break that protocol for someone they want to talk to but that is their choice to make not an expectation to have. Things are not as random as you think, some have questions curated and even paid for and you do not realise how much of a well oiled machine foreign media actually is. Interviews do not start when you see someone, they start before the actions and that preparation is exactly the professionalism.“

Agreed, the interviewer acted a bit unprofessional and unprepared, but Omotola needs to relax from this her “OG status” thingy. I’m sure the interview was to promote her movie, so she could have just moved with the flow. She can even respond with “Omotola Jalade, the producer of one of the hottest movies in cinemas right now”. Her mannerism reeks of arrogance. Make she dey calm down abeg.
