הסיבה שהתמונה בשער השבועון האיטלקי שפורסמה לפני כמה ימים הרטיטה את הלב היהודי, היא הזיכרון הקולקטיבי, והדימיון המבחיל של התמונה הזאת לתעמולה נאצית - נאצית ממש, לא כסופרלטיב. התמונה החדשה משמאל מזכירה לנו את התמונה הוותיקה מימין (שיש עוד רבות כמותה), שהיא חלק מתעמולת “היהודי כמחלל טוהר הגזע”. האסתטיקה ברורה: גבר מכוער, עם איזה שיבוש, מראה מרושע, וחזות יהודית במובנה הלא-מחמיא, מאיים על אישה יפה, תמימה ומאויימת, ומטריד אותה. מה שמעניין עוד יותר בתמונה הימנית, היא שהיא גרועה פחות מהתמונה השמאלית. אינסטנקטיבית, היא מעוררת חלחלה - אבל למעשה, לא קורה בתמונה הזאת דבר. זה פשוט חייל עם מראה לא נעים מחזיק טלפון מול אישה ערבייה צעירה ויפה שנראית מאויימת. אולי יש פה 'מטאפורה על הכיבוש' - אבל בוודאי אין פה תיעוד לפשע. לכן, אם נעמיק בזה, נבין מה עושה התמונה הזאת: היא מעוררת בנו רתיעה פיזית (כי קטנים ועלובים הם, לצערנו, בני האדם ביחס לכיעור), שהופכת לרתיעה ערכית. אמנם בפחות גסות, אבל זאת אותה הטכניקה של הבמאי הנאצי פריץ היפּלר שביים את הסרט "היהודי הנצחי", בו הציג יהודים לצד עכברושים פשוט על מנת לגרום לרתיעה הפיזית להפוך לרתיעה ערכית. שאפו. לצד הקריקטורה של פוליטיקו, שלפחות הוסרה, התעמולה האנטי-ישראלית חושפת את פניה האנטישמיות בבירור.

I've worked a decent amount in South Texas over the last 15 years, and yeah, this is the first one that I've actually seen.
This will become a bigger issue in time. This is actually a major sticking point in China-Canada negotiations when they were threatening to begin importing en masse these Chinese vehicles. They will never be able to be registered in the US.
We're not going to let our main foreign adversary use self-driving or assisted driving technology to in detail map all over the United States with ever increasing detail.
