I just don't understand y'all. I know business can be cutthroat but why view your friends as competition? And not even the friendly/push each other to new heights kind? While I also understand wanting to "lock in" an artist to work for you full time (more or less), there's also no reason to gatekeep them from the rest of the world. A rising tide raises all ships after all. You did so much to push the indie community forward and actually made it to a really successful position. People were inspired by you and yet it still wasn't enough. I'm not saying to not "stay hungry," but you don't have to pull up the ladder behind you either. Stuff like this makes me really angry and sad. How could you do this to the community and even more so your friends! Shame on you!!!
