Pixel Worlds Game

Everything else will be available as normal at launch.

We know that certain worlds have always played a big role in trading and community activity. To support that, we’ll be reserving a very small number of well-known world names so they can continue to serve the community in the same way.

At this point, this includes TRADE, as well as a few admin-related names. This isn’t a broad reservation system — it’s limited to a handful of cases where these worlds have historically acted as shared community spaces, or where it helps prevent impersonation and scamming.

It also means that you'll need to choose your account name carefully 👀 What do you think about this change?

Over time, multiple accounts and exploit-related behaviour had a negative impact on the game’s economy and overall fairness. This change helps improve security, reduce misuse, and support a more stable and balanced experience long-term.

For the PW relaunch, it will be one account per player. We've made changes to how accounts are managed to better support this and to reduce misuse.

Pixel Worlds is coming back on 31.03.26. This will be a fresh start for all players, with progression reset and a focus on fairness, stability, and long-term sustainability. #pixelworlds #pixelworldsgame

You may already know some of our OG devs left to start their new sandbox MMO, Nexus Station. PW may be ending but we hope our community can live on there and new friendships can be made. We’ve even heard that CommanderK has arranged something exclusive for Pixel Worlds veterans

As a team, we are so proud of Pixel Worlds and the friendships that have been made amongst our players. The game will officially shut down at the end of 2024. Over the next couple of months, we would love to see friends old and new gather in-game again and make some memories.

To our Community, After 8 amazing years, we have made the difficult decision to close our servers. Unfortunately, we have reached the stage where we are unable to continue supporting the game. Thank you for being part of the best community ever!
